Meghan and Cameron Wilson, Dallas natives, opened their own MissQuito Mosquito Control in Frisco in April.
Tell me a little about yourselves.
We’re both Dallas natives and have called the Frisco area home since getting married in 2018.
Cam has a business degree and currently works in privacy/compliance, and I [Meghan] hold a master’s in kinesiology and currently consult with employers on keeping their teams safe, healthy, and high‑performing.
We’re parents to three wonderful kids and two Dobermans, Kai and Jax, so our home is always full of energy. As a family, we love being outdoors and staying active. Our Christian faith is central to who we are, and we try to live out values like love, kindness, and integrity in our daily lives.
How long have you lived in Frisco?
We’ve lived in the Frisco area since 2018. Over the years, our connection to the community has grown deeper, especially now that our oldest daughter is about to start school. We feel an even stronger sense of responsibility and pride in contributing to the place where our children are growing up.
What attracted you to owning a MissQuito franchise?
We’ve always loved being outdoors. When we were dating, we joined run clubs and spent most of our free time outside at patio restaurants, outdoor concerts, workouts, you name it. Now with kids, pets, and a home, we’re outside even more.
We know firsthand how much better those moments are when you’re not being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Mosquito control adds real value to families and businesses by helping them enjoy their outdoor spaces comfortably and safely.
That’s what drew us to MissQuito—offering a service that genuinely enhances people’s everyday lives.
How do you see the business supporting the community?
We see mosquito control as an essential service for families like ours. Protecting your loved ones—kids, pets, customers—from mosquito bites isn’t just about comfort; it’s also about safety. By reducing mosquito populations, we help create healthier, more enjoyable outdoor environments for our neighbors.
Our goal is to bring peace of mind to the community so people can focus on making memories, not swatting mosquitoes.
MissQuito Mosquito Control will provide mosquito and pest control services in Frisco and The Colony, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and on Saturdays, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
